Welcome to the FAQ. If after reviewing our FAQ below, you can’t find an answer to your question, please submit a help request and someone will personally assist you. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for a response.
I have a complaint about another member, what should I do? As adults, we would prefer that you work out all personal conflicts away from the public spaces (forum, comments, etc.) of the site. Placing someone on your ignore list should always be the first response when someone annoys you. Ignoring them will prevent any of their private messages from reaching you, and will block their posts from appearing as you view the forums. Its always a good idea to ignore someone sooner rather than later to prevent disputes from spiraling out of control.

I've been banned from the forums or from commenting, who can I complain to? TS members are the lifeblood of the site, so we are hesitant to ban anyone from participating. Still, certain behavior can negatively affect everyone's enjoyment of TwinkSocial, so we created the Terms of Use as a guide to being a good citizen of our online community. We give several warnings for all but the most egregious violations of our rules before resorting to a temporary or permanent ban. If you have been banned, rest assured that a lot of discussion and debate took place behind the scenes before such action was taken. The best thing to do if you've been temporarily banned is to patiently wait for the ban to end and then come back refreshed and ready to play by the rules. The worst thing you can do is create another account to circumvent the ban. Its generally pretty easy for moderators and other members to spot these accounts, and when discovered, all of your accounts will be permanently banned. If you've been permanently banned, there really isn't much that can be done except in the most extraordinary of cases. If you feel that an egregious mistake has been made, you can put in a support request with an explanation of the problem.

| What kinds of content are prohibited in the Community Forums and other member controlled areas of the site? Any content that violates the law is prohibited from being posted, uploaded, or linked to by TS users. This applies to all areas of the site, including the Community Forum and user profiles, blogs, and gallery space. As an online service provider, TS does not review member generated content before it is posted. We rely on the community to self police content and report violations of our Terms of Service and the law. Each page containing user generated content has a Report Abuse link that can be used to alert us to a problem. Members are solely responsible for the content posted using their account, and the repeated posting of prohibited material may lead to deletion of a member's account. Some of the more common types of prohibited material are as follows:

I found a bug or a problem on one of TS's pages. How do I let you know? TwinkSocial is a new community and as such, there may be a few bugs. If you find a bug, please use the contact page to let the administrator know. Please note any information you deem relavant to the issue.

Someone has posted something that I don't lilke, what can be done? While we reserve the right to remove any content anywhere on the site at any time, as a general rule, we don't remove posts that do not in some way violate our Terms of Use. That means that mildly offensive or off-color posts will probably not be removed. Personal attacks and excessive baiting are not allowed anywhere in the Community Forums, Pordiles, or anywhere comments can be left. If you come across a post that contains these or other violations of the Terms of Use, use the "post report"

I registered for the site, but I didn't receive the promised confirmation email. How come? Sometimes the confirmation email can get flagged as spam by your email provider. Check your filtered or "junk" mail folders to see if this is the case. Make sure to mark mail from us as "NOT JUNK" or whitelisted in your email program and add admin@twinksocial.com and twinksocial@gmail.com to your address book. If you don't, you may miss notifications from the forum related to private messages you receive, thread subscriptions, and other important issues. In addition, you must be able to receive email from us in order to use our automated password recovery tool. Special Note: If you are using a spam challenge / response service such as Spam Arrest, be sure to add admin@twinksocial.com and twinksocial@gmail.com to your authorized sender list as we are not able to manually complete the verification process.

How do I delete my free TS account? While we're always sorry to lose a member of the community, we understand that its sometimes necessary for members to permanently delete their accounts. You can set your own account for deletion by choosing the Unregister link in your profile. Unregistration is PERMANENT AND IMMEDIATE, after which time your entire account, including your personal webspace, will be permanently deleted.
